St. George Shenanigans for Mother's Day

I know there's already a top-ten list for St. George in a post on this blog somewhere else, but I'm going to do one for the trip Melissa, Muti and I just took:

10.  Muti's potty-mouth
9.  Melissa's onion breath
8.  Mel's "if you touch me, I'll kill you" policy
7.  Chocolate Coke from Swig

6.  Melissa's inappropriate crush on the 17-year-old server at Red Lobster

5.  Star Wars Mad Libs

4.  Mel's inappropriate pictures

3.  The Brigham Young Winter Home

2.  The St. George Temple

1.  Muti's naps

It was AWESOME.

Thanks for the trip, Mar!

HOW Long?!

It seems like Sunday dinners are the best time for shenanigans, especially with Addie, Westen and Lucas.  Having dinner yesterday at the care center with dad was no exception, with Westen taking a bite out of rolls, cheese and cookies before putting them back on their plates, and Lucas shoving fistfuls of salad into his mouth.  (I want to see a picture of THAT, it was hilarious!)

My favorite, though, has to be an exchange between Jesse and Addie later in the evening, when Mar was getting the kids ready for bed.  Addie has a lot of cute clothes, and apparently they all look alike to Jesse - he thought Addie had been in the same outfit for a few days:

Jesse:  "Addie, how long you been wearing those clothes?"

Thoughtful pause from Addie.

Addie: "Um, about thirteen minutes."

We erupted into laughter.

Seriously, that kid is so cute.

Addie were having a "picnic" outside

Muddy Buddies...

Dan made muddy buddies tonight. Usually he figures out how to get Shawn to make them for him, since Shawn's are his favorite. So apparently Shawn gave him the tip that upping the powdered sugar a bit is one of the secrets to awesome muddy buddies.

He may have used a tad too much, hahaha. But then... is it possible to use too much powdered sugar? :D Definitely a big bowl of crack.

What? No posts since 2009? Yeah... google broke the blog when they got rid of FTP hosting. All fixed now... now we just need some shenanigans.
