Okay, I promised to post these pics, even though they're a month old now... background, for those not in the know, the Sloan/Knight fams went to Disneyland the weekend before Christmas. We packed up three cars and headed South. Some of us stopped in St. George on the way there and back, for a little hot tub time. Some of us got stuck in the snow (AND stuck in the car with a very loopy Dan). And a special thanks to Jesse's parents, Dennis and Susan Knight, for accommodating us all! (Except for Muti and Vati, who crashed at a hotel near Disneyland.) I must say that one of my favorite parts was the Mickey Mouse pancakes! It was a blast, in spite of the chilly weather, and the fact that Space Mountain has now lost its magic for those that were on it when the lights came on, and had to be escorted off the ride right after it started, and the firework show that was cancelled. Vati's scooter was pretty funny too... and the Star Wars show in Tomorrowland ROCKED! The only thing missing? BILL! We missed Jesse's brother Bill this year - maybe next time, bro!
Long live Mickey! And Jack Sparrow! And Jack Skellington!

Yeah, Space Mountain will never be the same for me, that's for sure. But what a fun day and trip! We should make that an annual tradition - or at least an every-other-year thing. :)

the title of this post reminded me of a time i asked an employee at disney's animal kingdom if the lions ever attacked the antelope on the open plain at the kilimanjaro safari ride. she paused and replied, "that wouldn't be very disney." turns out the plain isn't as open as it appears.
Sooo... I meant to post a comment like last week or something, but I have to admit I'm a little offeneded by this post! The only thing missing was Bill? What the!?! What about your stinkin' siblings that weren't there!? Rude! Oh well, I guess life goes on... I guess this gospel is all about forgiving...right!? hehe!
