I don't know about anyone else, but this crummy Spring weather is making me want a Hawaii trip BAD. I want to see palm trees against the sky; I want to enjoy a shave ice from Matsumotos; I want to eat shrimp off the Kahuku shrimp truck; I want the feel of the sun on my face, the sand between my toes, the wind in my hair, and the smell of the ocean in my nose. (Nose isn't a very poetic word to use here... but what do I say? Nostrils? Mucous membranes?)
AAHHHH... that's what I want. The BEACH. The warm water, the warm sand, the warm sun... a lovely escape from reality.
*sigh* My hands are cold.

I hear ya mellie, I hear (smell) ya...heheh Nice that it's SPRING Break for me righ now too! Hey, the good news about this weather is that you still have time/snow enough to go snowboarding! I still have my gear available...just sitting there...waiting for you...

I'm not a fan of the shrimp trucks, so Maui would be more than cool with me. :) Someday soon!

i'm dying cuz we aren't going until august. We were going to try and hit hawaii twice this year but no go. Oh well, more time for me to get ready to be in a swim suit.
Oh Mel you suck! I have been wanting to go for weeks and now I REALLY want to get on a plane and go! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to dream. :)
Are any of those pictures ones I took? The palm tree one looks awfully familiar...but maybe that's cuz we were taking pix at the same time! Hehe! The weather is nice here in Jersey right now! =)

I'm going to Hawaii next year. Who's with me? I'm putting money down for a condo in November (with some of my Christmas bonus) and buying a plane ticket with next year's tax returns. Anyone else??

Oh, but I'm actually going to DO it this time! It's in the power of the declaration, Mike! Hehehe! I'm thinking I might just go back to Oahu, though, unless more people want to go, and would prefer Maui instead... I'd be game for either one!
