That is Grandma McKinlay and Lorna, another gal who lives at The Lodge. Lorna LOVES grandma! She goes in her room all the time and visits with her and helps her eat and takes care of her, as much as she can. Lorna is no bigger than a flea, really - she's the littlest lady I've ever seen! She knows about grandma's struggle with dementia, so she doesn't mind answering the same questions over and over again. She's a really neat lady - I had a chance to visit with her one day last week, and she is fascinating! She's from Provo, she loved to hike every weekend, she lived in Southern California for many years where she and her husband liked to ride their bikes along the beach, and she majored in CHEMISTRY in college!! Anyway, I love Lorna. And I love that she loves grandma almost as much as I do. :)
*FYI - I know this post says it was created June 23rd - that's when I wrote it. But my computer would't load the picture properly, so I had to wait - and I just now got around to getting it done, so it's now the 30th. Sorry! :) *
