She only had one meltdown on the car-ride. This was right before she started wailing for mommy...
Where we lounged,
Then it was off to the world-class pool for some sun...
We went to the Bodies Exhibit at the Luxor (which really isn't as gross as it sounds - it's really quite fascinating!)...
and ate some mad desserts (this was at the Claimjumper. MMM... cheesecake...).
We also shopped, got Slurpees, ordered room service, explored the hotel and its grounds, and watched Kung Fu Panda ("Ohhhh... my tenders!"). The room was fantastic - I mean, they gave us chocolates and a USA Today paper in the morning, and the shower had two shower heads - one was like a waterfall, it hung from the ceiling! AWESOME. There was even a fancy ceiling fan to entertain Addie (in spite of the creepy asylum crib they sent up for her to sleep in).
We stopped in St. George for a night on the way home - and we made it there just in time to see a glorious sunset.
Thanks for a fun trip, girlies!!! Next time, let's get Seesa and Em and Rebecca to come!! :)

Nicely (photo) documented road trip-- but where's the asylum crib?! I'm totally curious now.

That was a fun trip. I'm glad Addie and I went. And just for Steve's sake, I won't rag on how horrificly large I look right now...heehee.
PS. I don't have a picture of that crib, but it's true...it looked like an asylum crib. Oh, and just looking at the picture of that "cream cheese pie" makes me want to vomit. (But, oooh...was that good.) :)

Oh, who gives a rats what we look like! We had a fun time and ate yummy food. :) Kato, do YOU happen to have a photo of the asylum crib? (And you DON'T look like a beached whale. You look awesome!) :)

Sorry...I got no pix of the assylum crib. In fact, I think when we were taking pictures of the room we were trying NOT to get the crib in the picture... haha!
